While Kubernetes offers myriad application development advantages that are easy to appreciate, the actual work of configuring Kubernetes to deploy applications is quite complex. For developers and engineers seeking an alternative to learning the (many) intricacies of Kubernetes and configuring YAML files, the Shipa developer platform is a relatively new tool providing an abstraction layer that automatically handles all requisite Kubernetes objects, security and network policies, and resource management.
